The Sixth Fritzsche
Logline
The film tells the moving story of Aboud Wedeh, a Syrian refugee, and his extraordinary relationship with pastors Beate and Johannes Fritzsche. In 2015, they took him in under church asylum, preventing his deportation. Aboud lived in the Bellersheim parish for three months – a time that changed his life. From a refugee, he became a family member; from strangers, they became close confidants.
